Pathway Reflection

During the one semester at attending George Mason Graduate Pathway program, I was able to learn effective thesis technical laws, quotation-related clauses, and attitude that I must learn as an American graduate student. Through the program, I am prepared to achieve academic achievement and personal growth.
In the EAP-508 class, I learned about the skills related to thesis writing that graduate students should have, such as the structural learning of university papers, the analysis of university papers, and the proper methods of quoting. Especially, through this class, I was able to learn for sure the standard of internationally accepted college papers. At my major courses, ECE-521 and ECE-528, I was able to learn basic knowledge related to system control. I learned how to deal with MATLAB in depth through two courses, which is a multi-used program in my major related field, so I think it will be helpful when I am in the related field.
I could also meet people from various cultures. I was able to see some of the world’s trends, including the country’s promising businesses by contacting students from other countries. And I was able to improve my ability to treat people in each culture, which was a very useful experience for me to work abroad.
Overall, I was able to experience and learn a lot through the Graduate Pathway. This will be the basis for me to go on to graduate school master’s course and develop myself by learning deeper knowledge and interacting with more overseas graduate students.
